MT. STERLING-- With just hours until Election Day, candidates are pulling out all the stops, especially in the highly contested 6th District of Kentucky. Representative Andy Barr, whose race is being called a toss-up by several outlets, brought in President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Junior, to campaign for him. Trump Junior was joined by his girlfriend, former Fox News personality, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

Garry Lawson has already voted, and he says for him the election is as much about President Trump as it is for individual candidates, in this case Barr. "I found that Donald Trump has done everything that he said he would do."

The first person to speak at the rally was Guilfoyle, who explained to the crowd why she says Barr needs to be re-elected. She said, "We need a warrior. We need a fighter to hold the line for President Trump to help him beat back these liberal lunatics. Oh my goodness. We've got to drain the swamp, but a couple of them are clogging the drain."

However, in her comments to the crowd, Guilfoyle made an interesting choice in her words. She said, "I've got a hit list of swampy people at the top. We've got Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, crying Chuck Schumer, wannabe spartacus Cory Booker."

Both Maxine Waters and Cory Booker were targets of pipe bombs sent through the mail two weeks ago.

When he took the stage, Barr spoke of his record, but focused mainly on how it is important that Republicans keep control of Congress. "This economy is booming because of this president and this congress. We can't go back to the days of slow, weak economic growth, the slowest, weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression," said Barr.

Politico reports that to hold on to the house, Republicans would have to pretty much sweep all 22 of the races currently listed as a toss-up, which includes Kentucky's 6th District.

When Trump Junior took the stage, he stressed the importance of the 6th District.  "America is back. We need guys like Andy Barr. We need you to get out and vote. We need you to call your friends. Because the fact that this race is so close should scare all of you."

As of this election, the 6th District has 308,352 Democrats to 215,860 Republicans. Hoping to bring over Democrats, Trump explained, "This is no longer your grandfathers Democratic party." Using an example, he said "You know, there's a lot of hardworking blue-collar democrats. They're really democrats because historically they've been that way. You know what I'm talking about. And I go to them and they go, oh Don I'm voting for your dad because I love what he's doing, but if my grandfather knew what I was voting for a Republican, he'd be rolling over in his grave. You know what I'm talking about, right? Everyone in this room knows someone like that. It may be even you. But I ask them this simple question. I go, that grandfather, ok I get it, I understand the history. What you your grandfather say about today's Democratic Party Platform."

Garry Lawson says that's why he voted for Barr, listing immigration as his number one concern. "I've been a Democrat for many years, but Donald Trump changed me. I don't like what some of the people, the Democrats are doing in Washington about the border." (:14)

Barr says he is hoping other Democrats feel the same way. "We're hearing from Libertarians,Republicans and a lot of Democrats, especially in Anderson County this morning, montgoermy county today, Madison County where we're going tomorrow, conservative democrats who like the direction of this country."

And in just 24 hours, Barr and all of America will find out if that's the case.
