Periodic showers can be expected today affiliated with an area of low pressure & a cold front that's gradually sliding across our state. Most of the rain should be light-moderate, and the highest chances for rain will be before Midday.  This afternoon, rain coverage goes down to scattered.  So, it won't be a wash-out, but there will be some chances for rain throughout the day...which warrants an umbrella.  Highs will stay in the upper 40s.  Another front will cross the area late tonight, and it'll bring a chance for precipitation.  This second front will bring a reinforcing shot of colder air, and there's a chance for a light wintry mix for Louisville and Lexington (or even light snow showers for Northern KY) early Tuesday morning.   There won't be any accumulations, and the timing will be brief.  By Tuesday afternoon, skies will gradually clear with highs in the lower 40s.  Wednesday looks great with lots of sunshine and highs near 50°. It'll be a great day for regional traveling, but it will also be a nice day for national traveling (with the only exceptions being the West Coast due to rain...and Upstate NY & the extreme NE due to snow showers). Thanksgiving Day looks lovely regionally, and it'll be a little warmer with highs in the low 50s (roughly 5 degrees or so below average).    Black Friday morning looks great for shopping (just cold with 30s). However, showers roll in for Black Friday afternoon/evening with highs in the upper 50s (seasonable).
