NATIONWIDE -- A New York-based coffee company is recalling all of their Nitro cold brew cans after a product specialist warned of possible botulism concerns.

Death Wish Coffee Company is recalling all Death Wish Nitro cans as a precautionary measure. The company says no illnesses have been reported in connection to this issue and there is no degradation of the product at this point.

However, the company advises the public to discard all unopened cans of the product. Death Wish Nitro will be refunding all online orders within 60 days, and retailers will refund with proof of purchase.

“In short, it looks like our process wasn't perfect and we're excited to revisit it with guidance from some of the most meticulous scientists in the world,” company officials said of the recall, in a release.
