OHIO -- The weather may be cooling off, but the OHSAA football playoffs are heating up.

Spectrum News 1 is your home for high school sports, and regional semifinal games on Friday night, beginning at 7pm.

Viewers in Northeast Ohio will see Canton McKinley take on Mentor, the top-seed in Region 1, live from Brunswick High School at 7pm.

In Central Ohio, customers will get Olentangy Liberty and Reynoldsburg in a Region 2 tussle at DeSales High School in Columbus.

Meanwhile, in Region 4, Lakota East—coming off an upset of second-seeded Mason—returns to the scene of that crime to square off with Elder.

Following each game, stick with Spectrum News 1 for High School Blitz for live look-ins of other games wrapping up around the state, highlights,

scores and analysis from the night in high school football all the way until 11pm.
