SHREWSBURY, Mass. - The St. John's baseball team put together a complete game with stingy pitching, good defense and some big hits to beat Tantasqua 9-2 in the first round of the state playoffs. 

Nolan Puglisi went 2-2 with triple and three RBIs, Zack Amero had two RBIs and three runs, and starter Aidan McGee pitched two and two-third scoreless innings for St. John's.
