A strong cold front has pushed through and the rain cleared out. We're looking at clearing skies after a mild and cloudy Thursday.
Colder air will move in and accompany some gusty winds tonight and Friday. High Wind Warnings are in effect tonight and Friday.
Winds from the northwest will be capable of producing some locally damaging gusts for higher terrain. We'll see gusts up to 45 to 55 mph tonight with temperatures in the mid-20s.
Wind chills will be in the low teens.
Friday will be sunny and windy as highs top out around the upper 30s with winds staying strong.
Winds slightly weaken into the weekend but will stay gusty. It will be dry, cool and sunny with highs in the 30s and 40s and lows in the 20s.
A warming trend kicks in next week.
